Preparing and Responding to Active Shooter Incidents

Advanced Security in the Field

Overview

Advance Security in the Field (ASITF) course is required for all personnel stationed in or traveling to a non-headquarters duty station/mission (note: there are some exceptions, check the Travel Advisory for up to date information).

IMPORTANT: BSAFE is the new online security awareness training. It replaces both Basic Security in the Field (BSITF) and Advanced Security in the Field (ASITF). BSAFE is mandatory for all UN personnel, including staff, interns and consultants.
